We decided it would be a good idea to introduce a few of them to you. Our next employee spotlight is smart, dedicated, and someone who loves helping his customers. Meet Josh\u00a0Voth.\u00a0\u00a0Josh has worked in the\u00a0appliance industry for the last 15 years, and for the past 13, he’s been working at our Santa Barbara\u00a0location\u00a0in our Kitchen Showroom.\u00a0\u00a0“My favorite part of my job is dealing with people, it sounds clich\u00e9, but I\u2019m a people person. I like to interact with people, and I like to make sure they\u2019re happy and well taken care of. Sometimes it\u00a0can be\u00a0trying, like any job, but it\u2019s the great experiences with my customers that keep me coming back, and enjoying my job year after year.”<\/p>\n

Josh is Passionate about Cooking, and of course Cooking Appliances!<\/strong><\/p>\n

“I enjoy selling refrigeration, and washers and dryers, but I\u2019m partial to the cooking appliances because I was a sous chef for four years.\u00a0\u00a0I\u2019m really passionate about food, and how I can help my customers find the perfect range or oven for their specific needs. With my cooking background I can really connect with customers and really help them with what they need, not just with what they want, or they think they need. My experience as a sous chef is a great benefit. I can guide my customers, and lead them in the right direction because I know how to use these appliances first hand. My experience is really beneficial.”<\/p>\n

Josh Makes Sure his Customers are Happy<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are so many times I felt proud about helping a customer, but the biggest thing with my job is that\u2019s all I want to do is to make sure they are 100% happy.<\/p>\n

I want them to come back to WDC, and feel like they will always be well taken care of<\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t matter whether I am in the store or not; all of my coworkers are here to help.[\/vc_column_text]

Josh thrives on connecting with customers, and really helping them find the perfect appliances for their remodel.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Since Josh has worked at WDC for a long time, (over a decade) he is very familiar and comfortable with all the manufacturers, and models WDC sells.\u00a0\u00a0He can\u00a0assist\u00a0both the customers who know exactly what they want, and the ones who are a little unsure. “The best tip I can give a customer is try to figure out what you really like and want, but if you don\u2019t know, that’s where we come in. That\u2019s what we\u2019re here for;\u00a0we can give you advice on what will work for your needs, and your space.\u00a0\u00a0The good thing about me is I\u2019ve been doing this for so long, I\u2019m really familiar with all the different brands and their models, and makes, and how they will work, or not work for your project. So when you visit the WDC Santa Barbara showroom, you won\u2019t waste your time with wrong or misleading answers, I\u00a0get you the correct information you need the first time.”<\/p>\n

Josh loves Santa Barbara!<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been in Santa Barbara for 15 years, so I\u2019m not quite a native, \u00a0 but more like a local, and I just love Santa Barbara. I get out in the city a lot, so I know a lot of contractors and people in town, and a lot of local people just know me through meeting me socially.\u00a0They have my phone number, my email, and I\u2019m readily available to reach out to if they ever have any questions at all. I get a lot of referrals that way.<\/p>\n

It’s nice to know that I’m trusted, and people feel confident suggesting WDC, and passing my name along. It\u2019s very kind of them, and it\u2019s a real compliment.[\/vc_column_text]
